The Curriculum

Six modules. One interview-ready graduate.

Every module in this programme is designed to build a complete hotel operations professional. Someone who knows the technical steps, but someone who walks into a luxury property on day one with the confidence, composure, and competence to stay.

The PIES Framework

Psychologically Informed Employment Support (PIES) is Tovra Works’ structured approach to building employable professionals, not just trained ones. Developed from our founder’s background in psychiatry, PIES integrates psychological principles directly into how we teach. Most training programmes build technical competency and stop there. PIES goes further: it addresses the confidence gaps, identity barriers, and resilience deficits that cause technically capable people to underperform or leave the industry within the first year. Every module is designed to develop the person alongside the professional.

01

Front Office

Guest check-in and check-out to luxury hotel standards. Reservation systems, professional communication, telephone etiquette, and the specific discipline of creating excellent first impressions at a property that expects nothing less.

02

F&B Service

Food and beverage service at the luxury standard. Table setting, order sequencing, service choreography, and the wine and beverage knowledge a professional is expected to carry from their first week on the floor.

03

Housekeeping

Room preparation and presentation to five-star specifications. Inventory management, turndown procedures, and the professional discipline of attention to detail that guests remember and return for.

04

Professional Grooming

The appearance and presentation standards of luxury hospitality. Uniform protocol, grooming specifications, and the physical language a hotel professional uses to communicate competence before speaking a word.

05

Banquet Service

Event and banquet service coordination at scale. Setup discipline, service flow, client expectation management, and the professional performance expected in high-pressure group hospitality environments.

06

Soft Skills

Communication, confidence, conflict resolution, and workplace readiness. The module that determines whether a technically trained graduate becomes a career hospitality professional or remains merely a trained one.

How Placement Works

Every step, explained before you join.

We walk you through the full process before you apply. There are no surprises at the end of the programme. You will know exactly what we will do for you and what we will require from you in return.

01

Training and Evaluation

Throughout the three months, your performance, attendance, professional conduct, and module assessments are tracked. Career & department eligibility is determined by your final standing, not by enrollment.

02

Interview Preparation

The final weeks of the programme include structured interview preparation. Mock interviews, grooming assessments, and property-specific briefings are run before you attend any placement interview.

03

Property Matching

Eligible graduates are matched to partner properties based on performance profile, personal preference, and vacancy availability. We do not send every graduate to every property. Matching is intentional.

04

Post-Placement Support

After placement, Tovra Works maintains contact with you and the property for your first 90 days on the job. Your opening quarter is the most formative period of your career. We do not disappear after placement.

Is This Programme For You?

Not every programme is built for every person.

This programme is built for a specific kind of person. Read what follows carefully. If you see yourself in the first column, apply. If you see yourself in the second, come back when the time is right for you.

You Belong Here If

Come Back Later If

Before You Apply

Ask every training programme these four questions.

These are the questions that separate programmes with clear answers from programmes that avoid them. Here are ours, stated plainly.
Is a government-recognized certificate part of this programme?

Yes. Every graduate who completes the programme receives THSC certification. THSC is an internationally recognized training body. This certificate is accepted by hotels and hospitality employers across the globe, not only in Nagaland or the Northeast. That is not a minor distinction. It determines where you can go next, and how far your career can travel beyond the state you started in.

Tovra Works graduates gains direct industry access in premium and luxury properties. We do not deal with agencies. We do not place graduates in budget hotels, ungraded guesthouses, or properties that do not meet that standard. The programme is designed to meet the expectations of luxury hospitality, and the properties we partner with reflect that. If you complete the programme and meet placement criteria, the interviews you attend will be at properties worth building a career in.

Hospitality is one of the few industries where an entry-level position at a luxury property creates a real and visible career trajectory. Professionals who enter 4 and 5-star environments early and stay focused commonly progress to supervisory and junior management roles within three to five years. The starting salary matters. The property tier you enter matters more. The discipline and professional conduct you bring every single day matters most. That is precisely what this programme prepares you for, and why the standard it holds you to is not negotiable.
